Question 1

Which CMS is better for tyre shop?

Accepted Answer

Tyre shops it's not a shop of toys or t-shitrs, because
- it has a lot of positions, from several hundreds, and thouthands in average
- a lot of categories: tyres\wheels + brands + models + position sizes
- a lot of data, usually in custom fields - specs, seasons, stud info etc
- it needs to be filtered and you need a tyre finder by car for customers

You should know it before you select platform for your tyre shop.

Wordpress + WooCommerce (our choice)

- that's all from list above is present and supported, maybe wordpress is not faster cms, but it solved via not cheap hosting and right work with plugins and theme
- you should have a lot of plugins and developers for your needs

Custom solution

- it's always expensive, always - need time to done first release, always - you need own developers
- but you can make any store with any features

Shopify

Not recommended: it has no categories, yes, you can use collections, but one product for one collection it's not about tyre shop De-facto, Shopify useful for t-shirts, other products. Not for tyres! You can't do even small tyre shop, maybe small car wheels shop for not many products (like for lux segment)

OpenCart

First, OpenCart is NOT a CMS, it's a framework. Like Laravel. It's not a CMS because:
- there is no plugin updates. even no plan for future, only manual updates
- as example, OC has no product import from csv after "fresh install"!!
- modules shop is not work if you install OC

You can't make shop on OpenCart without developer, even for minimal version. And OpenCart has tech limitations and bugs:
- themes and plugins can be done only with developer
- internally codebase has changes even in minor versions, su module updates is really hard
- internally codebase is from 1990, it leads a hard support

- but solution can be cheap at start, but even csv import module you should buy before enter first product
- it's fast framework (it has no useful code)

This framework we can support only if you have a developer. But not recommend, because our WP plugins updates automatically for customers, but OC is not supported this and even not planned.

How to select hosting for tyre shop?

If you just started tyre shop and have less than 1000 positions, you can try middle-segment shared hosting. If you have more positions - more expensive shared. When your shop is grow, you select hosting by yourself.

Could I make tyre and wheels shop on WordPress and WooCommerce?

Accepted Answer

Yes, of course! Infrastructure of WP is universal and more suitable for tyre shops, than most of CMS, even better than Shopify (they have limits for custom fields, categories, etc) or OpenCart (they have several tech problems and required custom developing). And WP has a lot of features and plugins for customization and extend.

How to select hosting for tyre shop on WordPress?

You need a good hosting for WordPress and WooCommerce. It should not be cheap, because minimal Woo requirements is 256Mb per client. The best way is to setup aldo Redis or Memcached, and your hoster should support it. Remember, that tyre and wheel shop it's not for ten products, but for several thousands.

You can open Tyre internet shop free or almost free! You can find free plugins on wordpress.org, setup tyre shop and import data (if supplier has it) for free.

Another question is: how much money you need to open useful shop? It can costs from several houndreds dollars: paid template, tyre finder plugin, some useful plugins for customers.

Any. The main reason is all templates made for standard WooCommerce features and you should improve your shop in any case for show tyre data, filter tyres, etc

1. First, you should remember to set 256Mb minimum for php. It's WooCommerce recommendation.
2. Install object cache for WordPress (Memcache or Redis). Our plugins use all cached features of WP, so when you setup object caching, they will use it too.
3. Install any useful tool or plugin for combine, minify and gzip of js&css - Wordpress use a lot of this resources, so speedup of page load will be very big

Yes, of course! Just write to support, you can write even before buy.

We have statistics: we help our customers for free for most tasks via our Premium support.

If you need more serious changes, with development or for you shop only, we tell about how, when, how much etc. If your paid request (usually it's custom development or custom customizations tasks) is useful for our plugins and we can use it, you pay only half of cost.

Yes, of course! Free version updates via WordPress.org, paid version via our update system, all automatically. Just install plugin once, after that your WordPress will inform you about new updates and install them via WP update system.

You can try the database directly on our website via searching. The base is almost identical with one is presented on the site, with the exception of car models that have been added between the database updates.

Free updates for the first one year

We update the database periodically. After purchase, you will be subscribed to free database updates for one year, so your database will remain relevant.

Discount for multiple sites

Accepted Answer

The database is sold one per site. If you need the database for more than one site we can make a discount for second and next copies of the database.

Database Updates Technically

Accepted Answer

We prepare full updates, there are no partial and delta updates. Just go to your account and download new files from the same links. We try to keep IDs, but they can change. As a rule, this rarely happens. Usually updates of data are not affected ID.

What is in free additional databases?

Accepted Answer

In additional databases we packed logos of vehicle brands, tyres and wheels brands. Basically, it's brands, that you can see in databases, of course.

We use maximal resolution for additional data, we try to use data with min 1000px by one side.

By the way, not all vendors has logos in open access, so such logos has low resolution or not present in dataset.

If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return your order for a full refund. You can return or exchange your purchase for up to 14 days from the purchase date.
Payment service (Robokassa, UnitPay) commission will not refunded upon refund. When returning, UnitPay returns funds to the same payment source from which the payment was made, Robokassa in accordance with the policy of this payment aggregator.

Our databases is not a module to any CMS, so it can be integrated in any project.

Script for Search by Vehicle Database should be easy integrated to any design.
We strongly recommend use yours price as source of your data (your price positions from warehouse) and use our data as secondary, linked to yours.. Data from your warehouse should be main.

Next step is link your price with our data. We have service for it by names of tyres and wheels. You can do it yourself, but our service can be used too. Service if free for all, you can check how your price covered by our data before buy databases.

If you already have an account on our site, please login. If you don't have one, we will register you on our site and send you the login and password during the payment. After the payment is accepted you will see the download links for the database on this page. Do not forget to login if not. Our terms of service.

We will send you emails with information about the updates of the databases. The updates are free of charge during one year after buying the database.

Note: Our payment provider has no feature to set order in $ due to law limitations now. So, all prices will converted in RUR during payment process.
Please, check converted order sum before payment.
